With sufficient demand the Club will be running another RYA Basic Skills Level 1 & 2 Sailing Course.

sailing techniques and manoeuvers(practical)
launching and recovery
capsize recovery
racing
sailing theory and background
meteorology
clothing and equipment
emergency procedures and precautions

On completion of this course, the successful sailor will be safety conscious, have a basic knowledge of sailing and be capable of sailing without an instructor onboard in light winds. To help you through this course the Club have available the RYA Start Sailing Handbook. This costs £4.50 and is an excellent reference for this course.
Included in the cost of this course is the RYA Log Book and your RYA Basic Skills Level 1 & 2 Certificate , if successful.
